I've tried and tried....seems like we're a lonely group here. The only good thing about having 2 members, is if we ever happen to meet up somewhere with our trucks, we'll get 100% attendance for the "national meet". I'd like to see anyone compete with that!!

I think it's similar to French Muscle. Escargot!
J/K snowbacks. Most of you are the coolest, exc. Quebecans, who I think are from another country...

Snowback. . . I prefer Snowbird. Its nearing migration time. And nothing like a little American Muscle to help me plow my way down to FL.
Canadian Muscle. . . I can't think of a single thing that would qualify. Any takers?

We actually DID have some Canadian horsepower... but very short lived....
We had the
Bricklin SV1 in 1974-75 (made right here in little ole New Brunswick on the east coast

) .... 351 Ford motor, gull-wing doors and all fiberglass body - they were HOTTTTT for their time ...

BRICKLIN OWNERS WEBSITEToo bad the designer/builder Malcolm Bricklin was such a crook & screw up. Company went bankrupt in only 2 years.

Nov 21 2006, 05:06 AM
I keep wondering the same thing Marlene.
So you're at Guelph eh? I spent alot of time there while I was going to Waterloo. Went to alot of Aggie Superpubs....don't remember a single one!
marlene
Nov 21 2006, 05:23 AM
Cool, what did you study at Waterloo?
As far as pubs, we spend a lot of time at The Arena and The Real Deal. Oh, I mean I've heard about these pub type places but I never go. No, I'm too busy studying and being good. The kind of behavior that goes on in pubs is just not for me. What's beer taste like anyway? HAHAHAHAHA! j/k I love those places. Have you been to either of them?
canadian_z71
Nov 21 2006, 06:40 AM
Don't remember the Real Deal, we spent more time at the Keg, and at the Arena during the Superpub. I recall a bunch of us going to the Bullring in cowboy boots and hats once...but thats a little hazy too. Occasionally we went to Van Goh's or the Trash, but we had to be pretty wasted for those places. In Waterloo we always went to the Revolution, Loose Change Louie's, or the Lyric.
I took civil engineering at waterloo, graduated in 2000.

I spend alot of weekends in Parry Sound, I have a cottage just east of town.
We do alot of 4 wheeling up there, up the hydro service roads.

I think I've mentioned that me and my family has spent alot of time up in the Parry Sound area as well. My wife was born up there and most of her family is still in the area. I can't get enough of exploring the bay with her cousins - fishin, boating, camping, etc. Beautiful area!

Nov 21 2006, 02:23 PM
Scott,
I remember you telling us that before. Be sure to let me know next time you're going to be up there.
I'm headed up again this weekend, hopefully theres a little snow to play in.
Scott
Nov 21 2006, 02:52 PM
I definitely will - It's been a few years now as it's getting harder with the kids getting older and such, but we are over due. I'd love to rent a cottage out on the bay for a week and totally let loose. That's the life!
Anyway, I hope you get the snow you're looking for and you have a great time!
