these are powder coated 20% gloss on stock rims, same ones that i got a red handprint for. so i learned my lesson the easy way, ill use these instead of the dubs i just got my dad for when i go out and play and tow and stuff.

JOCWW, they look really good. Did you sand blast them first? Just curious, how much did it cost? You should by some black Krylon Fusion and paint the lugs.
JOCWW
nope i just had them cleaned with laquer thinner, i paid my friend 200 to do it, and if you pay for shippin ill get em done for you for 220. thats for all 4 wheels mnus center cap. i was thinking of just painting the caps with cheap rustolem spray paint.
RHStansbury
That looks awesome!
**EDIT**

Does it look strange in person where the powdercoat ends since there is no break between the face of the rim and the outer ring that you left silver?
JOCWW
not really its just a line, i should have had him clear coat the silver so that it would even out and there wouldnt be such a dip i mean you can feel where it ends and where it begins. other than that the mask job he did was ok, not the greatest but ok. from 2-3 ft you cant tell but if you get up real close you can see the edge of the paint as its close to half a mil thick, and you can see that cut it by free hand but if your moving or just looking from you car while on the street you wouldnt be able to notice. i dont really care anyway as these are the beater rims for me to play around in the mud, tow the boat and race trailer so they didnt have to be perfect.
RHStansbury
Interesting, I wonder what it would look like if you just powdercoated the face and left the insides silver.....

hmmmm.
JOCWW
i think it would just look its part of the tire i dont think it would look that good.
JOCWW
Update on the wheels, they work wonders for cleaning i just hosed them off and it just fell off, the stock tires got me through the same stuff that i got stuck in last time so i guess it wasnt the tires fault completely altho there was some slippage but whatever. Ill post pics as soon as i get them off my fone
boostequipped
looks good... any side shots of the car with the wheels?
Carlitos
I like it! Did the mask off the rim edge then powder, or did they lathe it afterwards?
pepi
Hmmmmmm, i wonder if i can powder coat my stock rims in Bermuda Blue?...anybodies 2 centavos would be welcome, especially Carlitos, from what i've seen here, you have an amazing amount of knowledge on all things Z-71 smile.gif
Matt
You can powder coat any color you want. Gettign an exact match may be difficult but my friends shop has many colors to choose from.
JOCWW
After 5 years the paint is starting to flake off.
