I went in to a local muffler shop and the guy there tried to sell me a muffler saying that it was actually made by flowmaster but the flowmaster name wasn't stamped on it. The box said Xcelerator VX. Anybody hear of these? They are only $50 each and look like a flowmaster when you look inside. I have an uneasy feeling about it unless someone knows about this muffler then let me know.

I was going to settle on a Flowmaster 50 SUV after hearing good things about them but then I've also heard that Flowmaster makes you lose power and gas mileage if you swap out your stock muffler for them. This exhaust upgrade decision is getting so complicated.
