2000 Suburban, single-cd in dash with tape deck below. No XM or nav or anything. A couple of days ago I noticed that the clock was wrong. I reset it last night and it was wrong again this morning. Then while driving it today I noticed that the radio turned itself off and back on a few times, each time resetting the clock. I'd suspect a bad ground or loose connection but that seems odd with a factory radio when the rest of the vehicle isn't flickering.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Tad

Sounds very likely to be a loose wire. The clock looses memory when power is lost. Could be either the ground or the main power line.
