OK,

Since the spring has started and we have some really nice weather lately I was thinking about getting the Z71 Members together and going to a local trail for a weekend.

I just got back from Uwharrie National Park and had a great time. This park is great for both the Novice and Expert. The trails are consisted of very easy, to very difficult trails. This way for those with 33" and 32" Tires can still have some fun and play in the mud.

I wanted to post this up and get a feel for those who were interested.

Nice! I really didn't think there was anything like that in NC, I thought for sure closest trails were GWNF.

i stay pretty busy with work, school, and going to the beach and lake now that its summer. but i may be able to make it out.

I'm available the weekend of the 17th and 18th and the following week after that. or really when ever but not this coming weekend. Let me know when you're planning on going back out there.

OK, Sorry for the late delay guys. Right now I have almost 10 people lined up to go (Not inluding you guys). So 12 with you.

The group of other guys all live within 10 minutes of my house which makes it about an hour drive. We are shooting for close to the end of May that way we can get through exams and be in the clear for a good day on the trails.

We don't want you guys to drive 4+ Hours and have a crappy day. We also want to look out for good weather as well.

I'll keep you guys updated as much as possible.

I bought an old M38A1 Military jeep and fixed it up for this purpose. Thing runs like a top after I did a frame up resto on it.

So meet up the 23rd. Wheel all day on the 24th and then depart on the 25th? That works for me.

Yup, I will be driving back and fourth each day. Im only about an hour out.
