I agree with everyone's comments - like others, I could not even watch the whole thing. Where is the adults in this? They need to be disciplined like in the old days - my old age talking here.
The sad part is if you disipline like the old days they put you in jail. Sad crazy world we live in.
I don't even think it has anything to do with "spank or don't spank". My mother only spanked me twice in my life. And one of those was a slap in the face at 16 years old, LOL. Well deserved, I might say...(I didn't come home until 5 am and never called or anything...I had a great story prepared but didn't get one word out before **slap**)
Even though there was hardly any spanking going on, we had GREAT respect for our parents. Esp. my mother, she just simply ruled. She didn't need to hit us, she was a great "pack leader"

My father was a bit more of a push over, but a wonderful father nonetheless.
What they DID do is spend a ton of QUALITY time with us kids. Despite them both working more then 1 job, what little free-time there was, was spent with us kids. Always out in nature, picnics, bicycle rides, out with the sled, hiking, etc etc.
Kids nowadays just run wild. Parents are to busy to spend their free-time doing their own thing, buying their kids stuff to keep them busy, satisfied and out of their hair.
I think there needs to be a balance. Discipline but also great parenting, as in DO STUFF WITH YOUR KIDS. And not just buying them video games and parking them in front of some electronic device.
This dance video is disturbing to me. I'm sure, to everyone. But its the adults that are at fault. Makes you wonder how "they" grew up to think what they are doing to those kids is "normal".
