Anybody running an aries grille guard? I ordered a westin sportsman, got it in, and its been redesigned. Called westin, said they changed the look of them about a year ago...(a year ago they started making this in china, go figure). I like the look of the aries, but was just wondering if anybody on here has one and do you have any pictures.

i was planning on buying an aries but after the shocks i just bought im low on cash again, but from the pictures ive seen i like how it contours to the front better than the westins do

The only picture I can find on a tahoe is on the aries website and its only one picture....I want to see more pictures before I buy...know what i mean?

I can get mine for around $275 shipped. Its not the money thats the problem....I just don't want something that looks dumb. Is there not anybody on this entire site with an aries grille guard on a nbs tahoe?

The only problem is it says you have to remove your tow hooks up front. I swear I read somewhere on here that the Westin is the same way, but someone reversed them or something in order to keep them on? I wouldn't want to lose the tow hooks up front. I have used them a few times to pull friends out. Be my luck I would remove them and then I would need them to pull me out.

Yeah, thats the picture. Thats the only picture I can find anywhere. As for the tow hooks....it says on their website underneath the instructions that the tow hooks have to be reversed and some of the tow hook has to be trimmed off.

So nobody on here has an aries?

I sent the westin back. It was horrible. It was ugly. It had almost a stealth look to it....I hated it. It was a new design and probably the ugliest brush guard i have ever seen.

Since westin is having their stuff made in china now, i guess what looks good over there looks like crap here

$250 is a great price. Ship it ground UPS to save money. This grille, cheapest I can find, runs at least $317.

I've got one and the matching taillight guards, got em from jp customs when they were still around. Did have to remove the tow hooks and even drill out the mounting holes a little but other than that they have been fine.

I kept the tow hooks for my Aries grille. You have to switch the sides and cut about a inch of the side to make them work. I didnt have to drill out the mounting hole, but i'll admit... that was the hardest part of putting this thing on... getting the mounting bracket bottom hole to match up with the tow hook. Love the guard. It looks so much better than the Westins if you ask me.
