IMO, you would be better off putting in a 3000k 35w HID kit that can be had for $50 - $60. You will notice a much bigger difference...

Here is a kit for $49 w/ free shipping. Just specify what bulb type you have. I believe all NBS Tahoes had 880 series bulbs in their fog lights.

Here is a pic of 6000k in the lows and the fogs are PIAA 510 Ion Crystal lenses, which are pretty yellow. I have some 3000k HIDs on order to put back in the stock fogs and I imagine it will look similar. Light output should hopefully be greatly improved though.

Do you guys have the ones that are linked from ebay? They are only $49 bucks??? are these any good? They look pretty good, but for only $49 that seems a little cheap.

Those are the ones I have on order...$50-$60 is about average for a HID kit from most vendors. HIDGate's are around $55 shipped I believe.

Wow, I thought that HID's were hundreds of dollars. I would be curious how they look when you get them installed.

Thanks,

They help a ton, especially in the fog and rain. The only reason I'm going to try the 3000k HIDs in the stock fog housings is b/c I've been getting the urge to do another mod and this seems like a relatively easy and cheap one to try out.

ok thanks that is what i was afraid of just got my new hids today for lows and fogs went with the 5000k but thought about getting the 3000k for the fogs might use them for awhile and then get the others if i think it help more.
