Anybody know how much it costs to get a new roof rack for a 2005 Z71 tahoe. Just corned my wife about some new damage to a monster tree branch hanging over the drive way. Her comment was, "I meant to tell you sooner or later, but once the transmission went out on my road trip, I figured telling you would just add more fuel to the fire." Well she is right, but wth. Owned it since new. She has driven 5 times. The last two - 1)popped a curve at 55mph, 2) Blown transmission on a vehicle w/ 30,000 miles and now a destroyed roof rack. She will never drive the truck again, rest assured.

Let me know if you have any info on the roof rack, price and place to buy. Thanks.

The wife drives the Hoe and she thinks she can curb it all day because of the big tires. When she was driving the car, she curbed the sh*t out of my sport rims. wth

I wouldn't blame her for the blown tranny though.

New to the site. Just got a 2005 Z71 Tahoe and need a roof rack. Original would be cool but would like to see some pics of aftermarket ones too. I have been having a hell of a time finding one, I dont know why. can anyone here lend a hand.

There doesn't seem to be more than a few weeks without someone popping up on here for one for sale.

Well, I hope I come across one soon. I am looking forward to finding one so I can move on to my next project.
