My guess would be too long. I say you set something up. I'll do some promoting on other boards too.
We had one a few years ago in Ohio. I think there was about 8 of us? Had a great time!

this might be a little hard but lets find a long weekend and see if we could get some other areas involved
Every year we get a lot of hands early on but by the time summer comes and everyone gets busy, the heads start dwindling.
The weekend of April 24, Black Bear Performance is doing a tuning session either in the Woodfield mall or another mall in that area. The malls I am told are right off the expressway. We could set up a meet to coinside with the tuning session.
As it stands now, I am going to be there having Big Sexy tuned.

Woodfield is a pretty big mall right at the intersection of I-90 and Rte 53, which is the extension to I-290 and I-355. While they probably won't mind a bunch of informal guys parked milling about yaking in one of the outer lots, if someone sets anything up - chairs, etc, or it looks organized, the security will be over in a heart beat.
They often have local dealers and other organizations rent these lots for used car blow outs and other events, so if anything looks formal in the least, it will draw attention quick as they have security trucks driving around all over the place.

i own a valet company and we valet for a banquet hall right down the street from the mall. They have a huge parking lot. I could talk with them and see if the lot will be used that day and if not i dont think they will have a problem with us using it.
I'll PM JennaBear and see what all they have setup. If they have something setup, I'll see if they would'nt mind us piggy backing off of them.
IM banned from the mid west. Not sure why. They said for Uncontrollable rampage with weapons and a fast car, or something. Not really sure why they said im banned.
