QUOTE(trayack @ Apr 12 2007, 09:22 PM) Rookie....not to critisize cuz the install looks great...but why did you go with those subs? If you spent all that money (unless you own the company) on the install, why not go with a higher end sub. Instead of 4, you could have gtten away with 2. Thats really just a pet peeve of mine though...great install. to answer that question.. i had planned on doing the install after this past christmas and my mom bought me the speakers for christmas. i couldnt just say i didnt want them so i went with those. i now have 4 of the new kicker cvx's with 2 more 1000 watt amps. so i have 4 12's with 1000 watts to each. the cvx is the new bad boy that kicker came out with. second to the soloX, the round version of the L7 -------------------- ![]() 02' tahoe cranked ford keys, clear corners, billet grille, painted bowtie, 8000k hids, 285 bfg mt's, 4 kicker cvx 12's, kickers ss components, 2 memphis 1000x1, 1 memphis 500, kenwood flip out, magnaflow exhaust/denali tip, nbs badges, 20% tint, k&n cold air intake My Tahoe Pics -Jeremy- |

yea the reason i picked the mc series instead of the pr series is the mc comes with a 3 year warrenty over the pr 1 year and mc is smaller and looks better to me

I have recently sold my 4 12" Polks and I am planning on going with 1 15". I'v been eyeing an Alphasonic PSW8154J. Let me know what you guys think about that sub. I'm looking for a single 15" that runs at 1 ohm and can handle around 1000watts rms.

I don't really want to spend more than $250. Has anyone heard bad of Alphasonic? I'v heard a few good things but from no one I know.

Rookie...great looking system but......I never understood why people spend all that money on the install, but install lackluster components. You could have gotten more output out of 2 better quality 12's. Just my pet peeve....and really the only griper about your setup. Looks killer though!....Oh, I hope you run a larger alt in that thing.

hey guys. just got my system redone, figured id show a few pics. Also you cant see in the picture, i added 2 sets of kicker SS components and a 500 watt amp for those. The amp rack is across the back of the box with a total of 3 amps. I also did the new panasonic strada double din which was a nice upgrade from the kenwood flip out and to keep it all protected i got a compustar alarm with remote start and the 2 way remotes. Ill get some more pics and put on here. Next step is a suspension lift.
