If any of you have been in fire /ems you know how handy scene lights can be.
I was looking at my roof rack today and thinking that mounting some small led flush mounted lights in the front and rear end caps /covers would be very doable.
Have any of you done this? Anyone had those covers off and can give an opinion?
I can't think of a downside other than prime thinking you're an unmarked police car. LoL

I'm thinking something along the lines of these.

I am in no way EMS or any emergency response, but have recently installed LED lights on my parents vehicles. Have you thought about the LED spot lights? I installed a light from Traveller from tractor supply on my parents RTV recently and it made one heck of a difference. It lit up our pasture like we were in trouble haha

I have. I like the ones I linked only because I think they'll fit better on the sides of the end caps.

When I owned a 18 wheeler I had led floods on my headache track. It was like having the sun behind me at night!

A friend of mine uses these lights on his roof rack and they provide excellent scene lighting around the vehicle. The housings are made out of aluminum and the light is angled at 45 degrees, so it works perfectly. I would definitely recommend taking a look at them.
