Body Cladding

I have a 02 suburban z71. If I remove the body cladding, are there a lot of holes that need to be filled in? I don't know exactly how the cladding is attached.

The cladding is installed with rivets. Just knowing they were there was enough to drive me crazy, so I had them taken care of on my Tahoe. You may want to have then filled and repainted.

I took of the running board cladding at it was a pita. Grinded out the rivets then filled with silicone and rhino lined the rockers.
