Does anyone know if the amp research power steps will hide as much of the frame as the factory running boards on a 2000-2006 tahoe or suburban with a 3" body lift?

The Amp steps won't hide the frame much. They attach to the body and tuck in and hide the rockers more than anything else.

No - I took off my z71 running boards and they covered ~5 inches, the non-z71 boards are similar but cover a little less. Like 02burgundybeast said, the AMP steps are barley noticeable when retracted.
