Instead of posting a bunch of pictures I decided to try my hand at doing a video. I think I fixed the video volume, let me know what you think!!!

I thought I fixed it last night, will try it again or re record. The problem was my garage at 10:00pm is still 80+ deg f. So I have to have the doors open. Right now the cricket are loud and creates a high pitch background noise. I tied to edit that frequently out and it $&@! the volume. I'll try again tonight, thanks for the heads up.

Interesting idea. Have you reassembled the case? Just curious if the added coating would cause any fitment issues.

Cool project. thumbsup.png

Hope to start assembly this weekend (might start the clutch pack tonight). It's been so HOT, 80f+ in the garage as late as 10:00pm. I even insulated my garage door a couple of weekends ago that brought the temps down to the 80's.

Shouldn't be any fitment problems, I have used these same coatings on race motors without issues.

Eddie - The insulated doors should help. thumbsup.png I had insulation added to my garage doors (metal, and faces the sun) and it helped quite a bit. One thing I'm thinking of adding is a ceiling fan. Have not done that yet, but I have enough height to do it, and figured a slow fan right over my work bench would help.

Gary, mine also faces the afternoon sun (1:00-4:00) and yes, insulating the door helped a ton but my attic over the garage has no insulation so that heat perpetrates the sheetrock heats up the garage (I'm working on a plan to solve this). I was re shooting a video on the selector fork reassembly @ ~ 10:00 it was still 80+ and yes Scott, it sucks the life right out of you.

Eddie - In addition to insulating the attic of the garage, how about a fan to help vent it? Does the roof have a ridge vent?

Yes to ridge vents, but not power vents ''yet", I think that's a good idea I'm going to look into that.
