Wonder if you have to get a B16 Tag to get it on the road? That thing has to be heavy!

In New Mexico a typical driver (D-1) can pilot 26,001lbs> w/o additional endorsements.

That'd be one heavy sumbitch to be above 26k crying.gif

Do they have to buy a special tag?
Here in MS they have to have a B10 for up to 10k, and B16 for up to 16k is my understanding.
I do agree 26k is alot. i think 26k+ you have to start keeping log books?

I think the winch bumper (which is IMHO one of the better designed ones that I have seen for a GM full size SUV) is there for armor protection only. Protocol for security driving is to drive through people who are trying to stop you. A winch would just be added weight on an already HEAVY beast. Speaking of weight, I would love to know just how heavy those things truly are.....

Just guessing but if driving one of these econo boxes you just might have a badge that says driving restrictions don't apply.

My first wife and I were in the automobile business and sold vehicles to an up fitter. These vehicles are usually kept where anyone with a normal DL can drive them. These are sold to the up fitter as a new vehicle and then they disassemble and reassemble the vehicle. GM has nothing to do with them unless it is for POTUS, even the Secret Service modified Suburbans are sold as a standard new vehicle and then shipped to the up fitter.

I wish they would sell that front and rear bumper separately. It looks like it has a 3rd party logo, can't place it though.

It doesn't look like the star logo stamped in these pics, but I read somewhere that Wamar often uses Aluminess bumpers in their builds.
