So, since a couple members have posted about their recent trips, I'd post about mine. I'll keep it somewhat short.

Started in SE Ohio. Drove to I77 in WV. Then to I26 to I95 To I10 then a bunch of state routes to the Tampa area to visit my brother and his family. Returned up I95 to I40 into Raleigh. Visited with my Grandma, Aunt, Cousin and other extended family. Tried to have a meet up with a few guys, but either I was too late for them to stick around or no one else showed. Then I40 to I74 and back up I77.

Total travel distance was almost 2200 miles. Traveled about 80 MPH the whole way. 90 at times. The DIC showed 14.7 for the trip, so in reality it was closer to 14. Not too bad.

And the only picture with the Tahoe during the entire trip..

Wow...I was ticked that I only got 16 on our last trip. I used to get 18 before putting on the 285/70/17's.

It sure is, but not as bad as I-16 cutting through GA. I-95 is at least somewhat scenic.

HA! If you like traffic!

Oh, I saw that pirate ship for sale on Craigslist. A cubicle mate made sure I knew of the advertisement.

This is true. And you get all those Yankee (sorry!) drivers who don't know how to drive clogging up the interstate with their 65mph crap in the left lane. I drive 30 miles a day on 95 going to and from work and it is pretty frustrating.

/rant

Carry on.

Try driving on the NJ Turnpike and you might be eating your words with the 65mph left lane driving... You go 80 and your get your doors blown off.
